In some industries, high temperature casters are essential. You will find applications of high-temperature casters in aerospace, baking, smoking rooms, autoclaves, medical environments, etc. Water is sometimes present in or near high-temperature applications, and this should be the deciding factor when you choose a caster. Common high-temperature caster materials include high-temperature phenolic, cast iron, stainless steel, nylon, phenolic, epoxy and so on. Your application will determine which of these materials is the best.
Our high-temperature caster material is high-temperature nylon, and its maximum working temperature is 280 degrees Celsius. The brackets of the casters are made of high-strength steel. Has a high load-bearing capacity.
Rigid casters are casters that remain in one position. They will not rotate like a swivel caster will. Rigid casters give you great stability but do not give you the mobility advantages that swivel casters give you. For best results, most clients will use a combination of swivel and rigid casters to give them the most favorable mix of stability and maneuverability.
